In preparation for November, Hog Roast Chatburn has been hired by a local community centre to provide catering at their upcoming fireworks display. The centre hosts a selection of events throughout the year, including a firework display every November. For the event, the Hog Roast Chatburn team has been hired to serve a classic hog roast on a local sports field, with a meat-free dish also on offer. We suggested this menu since it is perfect for enjoying on a cold autumn evening and will be the perfect accompaniment to the entertainment.
In preparation for the event, the Hog Roast Chatburn team is planning on arriving at the venue in the afternoon to prepare for the 6:00pm serving time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it is cooked to perfection. Once the pork is ready, it will be carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For any vegetarian guests, we will also be providing BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is a great alternative to pork. Additionally, the guests will be able to enjoy homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a green leaf salad, to create a varied and nutritious buffet. The Hog Roast Chatburn team is looking forward to catering for this event, especially since we will get to enjoy a great fireworks display while on the job!
