Hello and welcome to Spitting Pig Lancashire. My name is Sophie and I am the proud owner of Spitting Pig Lancashire. I am passionate about fantastic food and great customer service, and i have worked across many catering and hospitality settings. I started out as a manager for a well-known sandwich franchise before going on to work as a member of cabin crew, and this experience has played a key role in maintaining an excellent standard of customer service for all of our Spitting Pig Lancashire clients.
When i started Spitting Pig Lancashire, becoming involved with the catering was a fulfilling and exciting new adventure. For the past eight years I have worked alongside my fabulous team at events and we all enjoy the buzz of having a more hands-on role. I have always had a flair for food and a love of catering, which led me to want to be a part of business which combines my love of customer service and my passion for food!

Our creative team want everyone to enjoy our food and we offer diverse dishes that satisfy all tastes and diets in addition to our gourmet hog roasts. You can choose from a selection of alternative meats such as beef, rotisserie style whole roasted chickens, lamb, and turkey. We also offer vegetarian and vegan dishes, themed menus, BBQ food, an array of party platters, and hot and cold side dishes and salads, ranging from classic combinations to more exotic flavours with a modern twist. We also offer different styles of menus depending on whether you want a relaxed feel or a formal fine dining experience. We source as many of our ingredients locally where we can from the best food producers in Lancashire. We make the most of the finest seasonal produce available, including locally grown veg, free-range dairy products and of course the highest standard of ethically reared pork. We also supply responsibly sourced disposable plates and cutlery, and when we are catering on location, we will leave the site exactly as we found it. All rubbish and food leftovers will be carefully removed from site after the event and recycled or disposed of correctly. We have forged partnerships with many venues across Lancashire, and our venue partners appreciate our considerate approach when we are on site as much as our client appreciate the quality of our catering.
