You know that old saying, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life”? Well, like you, we’ve heard it a hundred times over. And while it might sound a little gimmicky, it really does hit home for us. You see, Hog Roast Lancashire was built on the simple principle that good food and good company are worth chasing, and somehow that’s turned into our everyday reality. Not a bad way to spend a year – or several decades!
And now that we’ve come to the end of 2025, we’re finally taking a moment to pause and think about how lucky we’ve been this year. We’ve travelled all over the region, set up our trusty roasters in all sorts of places, and fed crowds big and small – sometimes twice in one day. And the best part? So many of you kept inviting us back. Honestly, there’s no bigger compliment than seeing familiar names pop up in our inbox.
When we first fired up Hog Roast Lancashire, we hoped people would like what we were doing, but nothing prepared us for the enthusiasm and loyalty you’ve shown. This year alone we’ve catered for everything from tiny private gatherings to launches for up-and-coming businesses, right through to major events hosted by brands everyone knows and loves. We’ve even found ourselves feeding a few famous faces – though we’ll keep those stories tucked away for now. And we absolutely have to thank our partner venues and our brilliant suppliers who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. They make our job look far easier than it actually is.
If 2025 felt like a highlight reel, then 2026 is shaping up to be the sequel we can’t wait to release. We’ve got a few ideas simmering away (and no, we’re not giving hints yet), but trust us – they’re worth keeping an eye out for.
