Hog Roast Drummersdale – Springtime Boho Wedding

At Hog Roast Drummersdale, it’s always a huge honour when couples entrust us with the task of catering for their wedding day. Being a part of such a momentous occasion is a responsibility we hold dear, and Cameron and Bella’s springtime boho wedding was no exception. From the moment they approached us, we were eager to bring their vision to life.

Understanding their desire for a playful, laid-back celebration, our catering manager, Sophie, suggested our Southern Slow Roast Menu. Cameron and Bella were thrilled with the idea, feeling that Sophie had truly grasped the essence of their event.

Hog Roast Drummersdale On the day of the wedding, Hog Roast Drummersdale’s catering crew made their  way to the couple’s chosen venue—a secluded cottage nestled amidst wild woodlands. The scene was straight out of a story book, with a gazebo adorned in twinkling lights and trees draped in even more luminous fairy lights. Mismatched dining furniture lent an eclectic charm to the setting, while vibrant bouquets and pastel-coloured candles added pops of colour to each table.

Nestled discreetly in a corner, our catering stall buzzed with activity as Sophie expertly grilled the trio of meat options over real flames. From the BBQ pork butt to Texan 24-hour beef brisket and Cajun-spiced whole roasted chickens, each dish was infused with flavour from our secret recipe rubs.

For non-meat-eating guests, our BBQ-pulled jackfruit buns with crunchy coleslaw offered a delicious alternative. Accompanied by a selection of bread rolls, wraps, Greek salad, mac and cheese, mixed fries, and an array of condiments and dips, our spread promised something for everyone.

After exchanging vows amidst nature and loved ones, Cameron and Bella were eager to kickstart the festivities. With heartfelt speeches concluded, Hog Roast Drummersdale unveiled the buffet, and guests wasted no time in indulging. Plates piled high as guests savoured every bite, with many returning for seconds and even thirds. As the dinner service concluded, the abundance of food had been thoroughly enjoyed, leaving hardly anything behind.

In a thoughtful gesture, our team crafted an antipasti-style platter from the remaining leftovers, ensuring guests could nibble throughout the evening. Cameron and Bella were thrilled with the results, grateful for the role Hog Roast Drummersdale played in making their day truly special.
