Here at Hog Roast Grindleton, we’ve been delighted to see a growing demand for multi-day weddings, and we’ve had the pleasure of catering for many full-weekend nuptials this wedding season. One event that stands out was the multi-day celebration of Tina and Rob, held at a luxurious country estate. Over the course of two days, we had the honour of serving fresh and delicious food to the couple’s 200 guests, ensuring their experience was unforgettable.
Saturday’s festivities kicked off with a mouth-watering spread, comprising canape platters, a traditional hog roast, spit-roasted English lamb, and grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs. The feast was complemented by a variety of salads and potatoes, with vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream and decadent chocolate torte adding a sweet ending to the meal.
On Sunday, Hog Roast Grindleton returned to the venue to serve a more laid-back feast. This time, the couple opted for a buffet of gourmet BBQ treats. Our catering manager, Sophie, expertly crafted a menu featuring smokey meats cooked on the grill, including beef burgers, chicken kebabs, sausages, spareribs, veggie burgers, and BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls. Accompanying these were Greek salad, pasta salad, and mixed fries, providing a satisfying and relaxed conclusion to the two-day celebration.
