Networking events have lots of benefits; such as providing an excellent opportunity for businesses to strengthen their corporate relationships, inspire fresh new ideas and encourage business growth. As a result, these events are always extremely popular, attracting guests from both the local area and further afield.
With that in mind, we weren’t at all surprised to hear that our latest clients’ networking event had garnered a lot of attention! Almost 500 people confirmed their attendance before the day of the event had even arrived, which meant lots of hungry mouths for Hog Roast Accrington to feed!
Yes, in the hopes of winning the guests over with some spectacular food, the client had asked our talented team to serve our Southern Slow Roast Menu, which provides unlimited enjoyment on account of the vast assortment of flavours it offers. From Cajun-spiced whole roast chicken and fall-off-the-bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs to Texan 24-hour beef brisket and vegan BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls, this mouth-watering menu has something to satisfy every set of taste buds!
Hog Roast Accrington’s catering manager, Sophie, took the lead on this service, and using her time wisely in the lead-up to midday serving time, she prepared a stunning salad dish, Memphis-style crunchy coleslaw and mixed sweet potato and regular fries, which complemented the main course options beautifully.
Adding some extra oomph to this already flavoursome menu, our caterers laid out freshly-baked rolls and wraps, a selection of fiery and smokey glazes and a grazing table topped with sweet and savoury nibbles for the guests to help themselves to.
This wholesome spread instantly won the guests over with its stunning presentation, but it was the taste of each dish that really blew them away! Fresh and full of flavour, this exquisite spread checked every box and helped the guests, who were mostly strangers, to bond quickly, which was exactly what our client had been looking for.
After making sure everyone had satisfied their cravings and were ready to listen to the final seminar of the day, Hog Roast Accrington busied themselves with the clean-up process, which saw our team clear away any mess left behind and package up the leftovers, which they delivered to a local homeless shelter before heading back to HQ.
