Hog Roast Lancashire Gears Up To Serve A Staff Lunch At Burberry!

You don’t need a degree in fashion to recognise a Burberry check when you see one – it’s one of those designs that’s quietly confident, instantly recognisable, and unmistakably British. From cosy scarves and iconic coats to fragrances and footwear, Burberry has been woven into the very fabric (sorry, we couldn’t resist) of UK style for generations. But here’s a fun fact for ya: before it was spotted on celebrities and catwalks the now-legendary Burberry trench coat was created for soldiers during World War One. Yes, really. Practical, weatherproof and built to last – style came later, once the war was over and the public fell in love with it.

Fast forward to today and Burberry remains a true British heavyweight, loved by countryside explorers, city slickers and A-listers alike. So when the phone rang at Hog Roast Lancashire HQ and Burberry was on the other end of the line… let’s just say we were over the moon with excitement.

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that next month Hog Roast Lancashire will be packing up our catering gear and heading off to serve a seriously tasty staff lunch for the Burberry team on the 5th of February. It’s a big one, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Our catering manager, Sophie, is leading the charge and pulling out all the stops to make sure the 70 guests are well and truly impressed. Inclusivity is key, so the menu will feature both meat and non-meat options – starting, of course, with our signature hog roast. Think perfectly cooked pork, crackling so crispy it snaps, sage and onion stuffing, applesauce, and soft gluten-free rolls. It’s comfort food done properly.

Vegetarians and vegans won’t be left out either. They’ll be tucking into colourful grilled vegetable kebabs (with optional halloumi), warm flatbreads and a generous helping of creamy tzatziki. Fresh, vibrant and very hard to resist.

Everything will be served buffet-style using bamboo plates and cutlery to keep things relaxed and eco-conscious. There’ll also be mixed sweet potato and classic fries on offer, complete with sauces, salt and vinegar – because no plate is complete without a few extra carbs.

Hog Roast Lancashire honestly can’t wait to bring this event to life. Keep your eyes peeled… we’ll be back soon with all the delicious details.
