In November, Hog Roast Birchwood provided catering for a great festive event hosted by the Bank of America staff. Our team was contacted by Jeremy to arrange catering for the Christmas party he was hosting for the Stansfield House Bank of America staff. The event was being hosted as a way for the staff to enjoy a delicious festive lunch for Thanksgiving. Our catering manager Sophie was hired to provide a delicious festive menu for the 150 staff members, including a delicious meat-free option.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Birchwood team arrived at the venue in the morning to prepare for the festive lunch. We began by preparing the gluten-free turkey for the main dish, along with grilled vegetables and halloumi skewers as a meat-free option. Once ready, the main dishes were served with bread rolls, or a gluten-free alternative. For the side dishes, our team provided cauliflower cheese, glazed sprouts, green beans and peas, glazed carrots, pigs in blankets, roasted potatoes, and homemade gravy. This created a delicious meal with an excellent main dish accompanied by all of the traditional Thanksgiving trimmings. We served the menu buffet style on bamboo crockery, allowing each guest to create a delicious meal from what we had to offer. The menu went down a treat and was a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving in style!
