Hog Roast Clitheroe Brings the Flavour to a Dream Wedding at The Coppermines

Earlier in the month, the bride and groom tied the knot in front of 80 delighted guests, all soaking up the jaw-dropping views of the surrounding mountains. But while the scenery was out of this world, the real showstopper came after the ceremony—when Hog Roast Clitheroe unveiled an epic buffet that had everyone’s mouths watering!

The newlyweds, who were first in line, couldn’t hide their excitement as they saw the incredible spread. At the heart of it all was our signature hog roast, complete with crunchy crackling and delicious sage and onion stuffing. The scent alone had people lining up for seconds before they even finished their first plate! But the options went far beyond Hog Roast Clitheroe’s classic spit roast — there were also gourmet sausages, handmade burgers, and sticky spareribs, which left guests licking their fingers clean.

Of course, we made sure the veggies and vegans in the crowd weren’t left out either. Grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs provided a delicious alternative, ensuring that everyone felt included in the feast. And, to complement the mains, we served up an array of sides that brought everything together: buttery corn cobbettes, a mix of traditional and sweet potato fries, tangy gourmet coleslaw, and a fresh tomato and mozzarella salad. Guests loved experimenting with different flavour combinations, and the variety meant there was something for every palate.

Just when everyone thought they couldn’t eat another bite, Hog Roast Clitheroe brought out the grand finale: homemade individual cheesecakes. With a crunchy base, creamy filling, and fruity coulis topping, these little delights were the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal.

The entire day was magical, and we were so proud to be a part of it. The happy couple couldn’t have asked for a better setting—or a better feast!
